What is the best prepaid cell phone company - with the best minutes or phone?
My niece has a Net 10 and small wise it’s really excellent – but the phones itself suck. I’ve had a tracphone and persons are both expensive small wise and also horrible phones.
Which one do you use? How are the minutes and the phones on them?
Thank you!

Argh! Tracphones SUCK!! I feel for ya. You should go for a t-mobile phone. You’ll have to pay the retail price for their hardware, but the “flexpay” option ROCKS.
My service is month to month pre-paid, and I get all the features of a conventional account. (except life able to go over, and pay through the rear orifice in overage fees) Instead of subscribing for bundles of text and pix, I have the sidekick service plot. Earnings I get boundless text, picture messaging, Boundless internet, yahoo mail, and my own ‘tmail.com’ address direct to thhe phone.

Honestly I reckon that Virgin Mobile is the best when it comes to Pre-Paid phones. I used use one a few years back. I stopped using it because my mom chose to buy herself a phone, so she chose to use a Contract (t-mobile) Virgin Mobile is a fantastic company if you want to add minutes all you have to do is add money to it, very simple and quick!

I reckon that most providers have prepaid services. Go with one such as T-Mobile. You can use any T-Mobile phone with your T-Mobile SIM card, whether your account is prepaid or not (the SIMS are identical). The only difference is that you do not get a money off for purchasing the phone, as you can with a contract.
They also have two different prepaid options-one is Pay as you Go, where you pay per small or per text. The additional is Pay by the Day. I recently got the Pay by the Day plot for my children, because it makes the most sense for our needs (I want them to always be able to reach us when we drop them off at Scouts, baseball, etc.).
Pay by the Day does not deduct anything from your balance if you do not use the phone that day. If you use the phone, it costs $ 1. That includes boundless talking to any T-Mobile customer at any time, and to anyone else between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. If you call non T-Mobile numbers before 7 p.m. or after 7 a.m., it costs extra. Texting also costs extra.
You might also check out T-Mobile’s Flex Pay plans. It is a hybrid between a contract and a prepaid. You choose a plot, and pay for it ahead of time instead of after the fact. If you use all of your alloted minutes/texts before the end of the billing cycle, you will not be able to send anymore until the next billing cycle starts unless you use a prepaid card to add more funds. But, if you have say boundless nights and weekends, even if you use all of your additional minutes the phone would still work on nights and weekends. They have the plot we currently have as a Flex Pay plot, and once our contract is up we plot to switch over.

I don’t plot on using it a lot. A call here and there, maybe a few texts. It’s mainly so I can be reached if I’m out or if an emergency happens. I don’t want one I would have to add time every additional month cause I doubt I would use it all.

Tracfone.
most beyond doubt.
you can pay 100 dollars and get 400 minutes w/ 1 year
so, once a year, you pay 100 dollars, and you get rollover minutes (the minutes don’t disappear if you don’t use em)
they’ve got some pretty sweet phones too.
