What are the Different Cell Phone Service Providers in Toronto and who has the best deal?
Answer by lakeontario_tr
You have Rogers, Fido, Telus and Bell. I tried Rogers and Fido (now both belong to the same company). Rogers will rip you off. They will change your agreement without even letting you know. They will start charging you extra things after a while on the basis that the first month(s), those extra ones offered for free. Telus is growing, downside is that it does not use GSM system. Bell has the widest network coverage. Bell offers some other bundled packages with internet or home phone. I definitely recommend you not go with Rogers.

My g/f works at Fido and I can tell you that they have some interesting packages. Unlimited incoming calls, the evenings start earlier, they bill by the second (do you know how much this saves) you would have a fit if you went to a store and it advertised something for $ 20.50 and you got to the till and they rounded it up to $ 21.00 why do you let cellphone companies do the same? They also have Fido Dollars, 5% of your bill every month they give back to you in a Fido Dollar account. It adds up to be enough to buy another phone for you or give it to a family member. How cool is that? I used Telus but see how much they charge to get out of a contract!! Ouch, Bell the phones look very cheap. Honestly I would recommend Fido with Five ******

What about all those pay-as-you-go plans? AT&T and Verizon have the best coverage in Flower Mound. I think the Target and Best Buy on 2499 still offer Virgin Mobile as well as others.
