Is it safe to buy a used Sprint cell phone that is currently being used?

I’m considering buying a used cell phone from Craigslist the person who owns it says shes using it until I buy it and then will switch over to a new phone. Should I be concerned about a apparent ESN # or any additional concerns.?

I wouldn’t if I were you. There’s no telling what will happen. She may be saying that to get you to buy it, then just cancel her account and not pay, which will lead to the ESN number life blocked. That sounds very fishy that she would be continuing to use it until you buy it.

Game 5. Taken with a cell phone. Click on it… it’s better huge

I bought for myself a new cell phone and thought that I’d never use the camera, but it came in reasonably clever last night when Edmonton bested the Ducks in game seven, securing the western talks and putting the team squarely in the Stanley Cup final.

Before the game we shared some wonderful fondue (thanks D and M). It wasn’t exactly game food, as tradition would dictate, but it was damn excellent.

After the game (and a small SNL), we headed down to join the additional 50000 public celebrating on Whyte Ave. in Edmonton. It was incredible, gorgeous, and generally fantastic. We got caught up in a crowd of public though that were burning paper (on the ground, in grocery carts lifted high above their heads) and in the process of tipping over a phone booth. At that point I clammed up and had to get out. I don’t like be pushed from all directions with glass all over the ground… I got instantly claustrophobic and had to get out. I don’t reckon it was perilous at all, but my body said, flight.

It was a fantastic night with lots of edge of the seat action. The pictures aren’t fantastic, but it was better then nothing (these are the only pictures I’ve posted in over a year that weren’t taken by a digital SLR… reasonably the contrast).

like if i just want to buy a used cell phone and take it to cricket (it’s a cheap cell phone service provider for persons of you who dont know) and they can use that phone to sign me up on.. or like if i had that from.. i’m thinkin the Motorola RAZR.. Cricket sells that phone.. but if i dont get it through them.. will they not do it?

I judge the phone has to “unlocked” by someone. Basically hacking the phone to be able to accept another carrier.
