Does anyone know if Nextel cell phones work in Cancun, Mexico?

I’m pretty sure they do…mine worked when i went to Mexico (Guanajuato). just make sure you get international from you provider if not you are going to get a huge bill!!!

yes, they do work. But if your going to be dialing to the US, make sure you dial 001 then the us area code and phone number. It won’t work any other way.

Its not for the phones its for the plans, like T-Mobile, Verizon, Spring, etc.

The phones all have CallerID so *69 in not needed.

No, cell phones cannot do *69. Nor does *69 work from a landline calling a cell phone.

CallerID is use on cell phone i haven’t heard anything about *69
