how do you get a job in sims 2 for the cell phone version?

i have sims 2 for my sony ericsson. how do i get a job? I go the jobs panel and it says i have no current job and my next is chef with cooking prerequisite 1. i already have 3.08 cooking. how do i get the job?

i dont know the mobile version its cool im gona get it. i reckon you have to search for a job first any in the newspaper or on a computer, when you find a job related to cooking you can accept it since you already have cooking skills and it will make you promote nearer, but you can also accept any additional job you find.
