Are you cell phone savvy? I'm switching carriers- after only a month!?

I bought a new cell phone (Samsung FreeForm) and activated it with Metro PCS a few days ago. I have my new cell number and paid for the first month (no contract with Metro PCS). I am taking the $ 40 per month plot. I just paid for the first month.

My sister just called me and invited me to be part of her Sprint Family Plot. With the plot, I am getting a LG Optimus S™ phone for free. I will only be paying $ 20 per month and the benefits with this is a lot more than the one I just activated with Metro PCS.

Question 1:
Can I switch my new phone number I activated with Metro PCS to Sprint?

Question 2:
Can I sell my Metro PCS phone on E-Bay even though I activated it already? If so, will the buyer be able to activate it with the same serial number on the phone that I used to activate it with?

1. Yes, Sprint will contact Metro and it will end the service on the Freeform if i remember correctly.

2. Your service will be agreed up for lost so when you sell it on eBay the new buyer should be able to use it on their account or a new one.

Im trying to sell my ancient cell phones. They are all like groundbreaking new and new styles, i just switched the company i go thru. I dont want to do ebay or craigslist, i just want to send it somewhere, and get the money for it. Any websites that pay well?? id just rather not have to deal with a buyer. THANK YOU

ebay.com or craigslist would be your best bet. y dont u donate them to battered women or to soldiers
