“AT&T is the buck-scoring cell-phone carrier in the U.S., according to a satisfaction assessment of 58,000 ConsumerReports.org readers. Of all the carriers rated, AT&T was the only one to drop significantly in overall satisfaction.”

Haha it can’t be! Everyone has an iPhone.
Though, I drove cross country this summer and didn’t have any cell reception whatsoever in the entire state of south dakota. So possibly they are onto something.

i had them, despised them, worst customer service over the phone and Dreadful CS at their stores, so i went back to tmobile, the only thing excellent about at&t is their signal other than that no unlimited data WTF!! unlimited txt is $ 20 everywhere in tmobile $ 10 and i can go on comparing their rates wiht other providers

I switched to AT&T from Verizon and found the service to be comparable and the tech support to be far better.

Frankly, I reckon people just like to whine.

Yes, absolutely, and here’s why.

AT&T is one of my companie’s clients. I work for a company that provides corporate real estate & engineering serivices, and work exclusively with AT&T.

Their management is driven souly by assembly facts, not assembly customer needs. Much of their “higher up” management is full of completely unqualified personel, which makes a disasterous domino effect all the way down the corporate ladder.

They spend no money on anything, and treat their own employees like garbage, and still expect them to perform 100% for them each day.

All their executive level management truly cares about is making the most money they can with sales. Once they have you as a customer, they could care less about your needs, because AT&T has more money than God.

Last year they made over 13 Billion dollars (yes, billion) in profit. But yet, proceeded to lay off thousands of employees & cut benifits and wages for others, and then used the economy as an excuse for it, even though they made more money this year than they did last year.
