How to unlock a Sidekick cell phone to use in Ireland?

I’m going to New York soon & want to buy a Sidekick cell phone over there, but people keep telltale me that I’ll have to unlock it to use it in Ireland. How do you do this? Is there anything else you have to do?

Its a special phone unlocking simcard called SimDevil. It supports over 992 handset models.
Unlike a conventional phone unlock it doesn’t void the warranty, so if you break the phone you can still get it repaired for free.

It is £9.95 (about $ 15)
I use mine with my Nokia N95 and it works fantastic

Everywhere do I find an unlocked sidekick cell phone that could be used with verizon wireless? If that was possible?

Sidekicks will NOT work with Verizon or ANY other CDMA carrier. CDMA phones and networks do not use sim cards. Sidekicks are GSM phones, which require a sim card in order to work. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other. The closest thing you could get to a Sidekick from Verizon is the LG enV.
