what is a good online store to buy quality BATTERIES from, for cell phones and PDAs?

Dont tell me eBay unless you name a specific store or seller on there…

I’m looking for a quality battery for the T-Mobile MDA as a spare… I’ve bought batteries for my digital camera from eBay and they last half as much as first.

well the conundrum is that nearly any AFTERMARKET battery of the same power (in your case 1250mah) will be lesser than the first, so you should expect that. if you follow ebay closely, you will find a seller with that same battery, i judge WIZA16, will sell a battery with a rated 1750mah. at the moment i cannot find the seller, maybe they sold out for a while, but i’m looking to get that battery too. the reason i like that one is because you will not have to exchange the door to the device, it basically fits stock. now there is a 2500mah and/or 2800mah extended life battery for sale on ebay, the only conundrum with that is you have to exchange the battery door on your device, making the unit thicker due to the larger battery.

if you find a seller with excellent rating, they obviously dont lie about their harvest and will not usually lie too much if you email them and question about comparison of their batt to the first.

another business you might consider is to just get it from t-mobile direct, its like $ 30, but you’ll know you are getting an first product.

keep an eye out and see ifyou find that 1750mah battery on ebay, i really judge it will last AT LEAST as much as the first, if not more.

Would someone roving to Santo Domingo or Punta Cana airport be willing two small cell phone batteries with you? The person in DR will get them from you at the airport. The reason I question is because the mail service is VERY unreliable there and I need to get them there asap. I live in Chicago, so I can drop them off with you within 50 miles radius from Chicago. Please let me know.

To make your life a bit simple, why don’t you send them by UPS or FedEx, so this a reliable way to send something to the Dominican Republic. You must just give the name, address and phone number of the person you want to send this batteries.

I agree, you’d be better off sending them UPS or FedEx. It runs a small pricey but it’s worth it since, like you said, the mail is VERY unreliable there.

Cost is 34 US dollars by FedEx. Way simpler to get it done that way.
