Which cell phone carrier offers the best plan on text messaging from the U.S. to Canada?

I have a friend who moved to Canada and has Rogers as her provider, she tells me she has a plan to text me here in the U.S. unlimited for free. I’m in the market for a new cell phone and service plan and was wondering which carrier will provide me with the cheapest option to call and text her on a regular basis. I’m in California and she is in New Brunswick.

im going to say sprint because its unlimited text for ten bucks and it includes canada!

Concert venue where the DJs performed during the event. The sessions were planned till midnight, so I guess the best ones should have gone on stage at that time.

The yellow gnome belongs to one of the main event sponsors: Parlino. They were giving SIM cards for free. I was offered one but declined: I didn’t carry my cell phone to Sweden.

Though it was quite early for this show (which means few people coming), I felt great listening to the kind of music I like =)

im looking for a new flip phone. that costs $ 30 or less.
the carrier i have now is tracfone and it costs .3 units to text, free to receive. i bought 200 mins in april or may and i only have 4.1 left. i use basically all my mins on texting. so im looking for a new phone, and also a plan that offers unlimited texting. id also like for it to be prepaid, or pay as go. not by month. because verizon offers a great plan and phone but its $ 30 a month and i cant do that.
are there any plans out there for me?

what you are looking for does not exist. ALL plans are paid monthly. sorry
