Only in emergencies, like when your car breaks down you can easily call for help. Otherwise, they have made life more quick pace and demanding.

what is the cheapest place online to buy an at&t pay as you go cell phone. A nice one if you will, not one of persons cheap plastic things they sell at walmart.

I don’t know about AT&T but Altel has some excellent deals with free texting, free nights and weekends (kinda standard now….but not in most pre-paid phones), and I reckon it’s about $ 70 a month?? Still Prepaid…..but that’s about what it averages for 500 min.
But if your a huge texter, that’s the best I know of…..otherwise, you can go threw HUNDREDS of minutes…trust me…been down that road. haha
