Samsung A767 Cell Phone?
Can anyone tell me how to change the settings on a Samsung A767 Cell Phone? Usually, when texting, i can push the space bar twice, and it’ll insert a period, but for some reason the settings got changed, and i have no idea how to fix it. Here’s a link to the actual phone i have.

I have T-mobile service but I got bored with my old phone and had an old Cingular Samsung SGH-D357 which T-mobile used to offer the same exact model at one time also. I unlocked the phone so I could use my SIM card in it and everything is working fine I can sent and receive text messages make and receive calls, I can’t go on the internet or anything but that makes no difference to me. Now while I can send and receive standard text’s I for some reason can not receive multimedia messages (audio or picture) I checked the manual and I should be able to. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I could do to fix it. I’d go to the cell phone companies but I’m sure they wont wanna help even tho both phones are payed for and there is nothing wrong with my tmobile phone I just got bored with it and in like a month I’ll probably switch back. PLEASE HELP. thank you all

This happened to me. Go to your messaging settings and select MMS. There should be a few different choices. Try them all and see if one works.

Its a simple problem – MMS requires a bit of data to download the message, and since your phone was sim-locked to Cingular, so were the WAP(internet) and MMS(picture messaging) settings.
You just have to find a way to configure these settings for T-Mobile’s network, which may be a bit of a hassle.
SOMEWHERE on T-Mobile’s site, there is a configurator that sends all the settings to your phone automatically. Try searching for it and report back
