Remove the sim card. Take the battery off and remove the sim.

it depends on the type of phone you have and if your infomation is saved on the sim card or the phone itself/ but a master apparent will erase the info off the phone for you. you can usually find that if you go to the phone settings or security settings. my husband just got his moms phone and took her sim out and placed his sim card in her phone and the photos, some msgs and all her numbers and music is still on the phone.
