How do I load ringtones from my computer to my verizon wireless phone?

Looking for a way to load music and sounds from my computer to my Verizon wireless phone ( eNV & Chocolate)
I have a memory card and software to covert to most any file format. Some say, Verizon is blocking text messages that can be used to get files to phone. Any thoughts?

I don’t know how the Verizon wireless system works. Does it go by how expensive your first phone is? I have the Moto Rizr Z6 TV which is one of their more expensive phones. Does that mean I will be able to get a more expensive phone when the day comes that I can upgrade?

“Sign up for and maintain two years of service on a digital plot of $ 34.99 or higher to qualify for a free phone up to a $ 50 or $ 100 value, depending on the monthly access of your plot, or receive a credit of the same amount toward the hold of a more expensive phone, with a two-year renewal.”

This is what is says on Verizons website. My first upgrade is really coming up 2/05/09 and when I talked to a person at the Verizon store they said that you get the credit to your Verizon account so its in a way a discounted or free phone. From reading this description it seems that depending how much your monthly bill is, you will get any a $ 50 or $ 100 credit towards a new phone. If the phone is under $ 100 it will be free, if it is over $ 100 and you qualify for the $ 100 credit, then that credit will be applied to the phone of your choosing.
