how can i make my own ringtones on my sanyo katana cell phone?

i need to know where i can get a program, like online or somewhere, or what the program is called so i may maybe get it off ebay with the usb cable and everything, ne and all help will be apreciated

There are lots of programs on the tucows shareware/freeware site. See link. Look on the right to see if a program is freeware or GPL (free). Ringtone Pimp is free GPL. It can make ringtones from MP3s.

Once you get your USB cord download a program called BITPIM…I use it it converts mp3′s into ringtones and also lets you go videos and pix from your pc to your cell phone.
