What are the technical reasons some cell phone services are better than others?
I’ve heard transmission types, like CDMA or GSM, make a difference. I’ve also heard that some providers don’t use as many towers and/or don’t manage the towers they have very well.
Why is Verizon so much better?
Thanks for your insights.

+ there are two things that really effect this one is coverage by the network of antennas and the other is your equipments power to receive. You can get your own amplifier for signal coverage, but they are pricey. you can get a bigger antenna that might bring in some better signal results. The towers are pretty much all shared, and they (the cell company) pay a charge if the signal comes in from it. you never see this on your bill but that’s is how it works.

I don't see why it would be a problem……say you want to change your number with verizon and then tell T mobile you want the number that you had….
