Q&A: Is there a SIM card port in all LG phones?

I have a Sony Ericsson w580i for At&t, and I was wondering if I buy a used LG phone, can I take the SIM card out of my current phone, and put it into any LG phone?

ALL mobile phones have a SIM card port – even LG!

ok there is misconception, NOT ALL PHONES HAVE SIM CARDS, ONLY GSM PHONES, or PHONES WITH SIM CARD LIKE TMOBILE AND ATT.

SOME PHONES USE CDMA.. they dont have sim card they use CDMA (Code division multiple access)

when u buy ur lg phone just make sure its an ATT one or a GSM unlocked one….

if u have a model number of the phone, just email me and ill tell you if they carry it for ATT.

It’s best to check your phone documentation to see if it will use a 2G card, some will, some won’t, so checking the docs is the only way to be sure. Best price I could find on a 2G microSD card was just under $ 62 I was also able to find a 1G microSD for under $ 17, so there’s a disproportionate premium for the 2G card. The site I used to price the cards at is in the sources below.
