What would be the best cell phone for my dad?

He own a landscaping/plowing business. He wants to be able to check the weather and radar to keep track of storm systems on the road, take and send pictures, and receive e-mail from his clients (which are large governmental organizations). We’re on a Bell Mobility plan (in Ontario). His phone is a million years old and doesn’t work half the time. We’re getting him a new one for his birthday.

I just went the the Bell Mobility website and saw and phone’s prices. I saw to buy it prepaid is 59$ but if you buy it with no contract, it is 249$ . What is the difference???

No contract means you just get the phone with no plan or service at all. You would only do that to upgrade or change you phone but keep your current plan.

With a pre-paid, you pay less for the phone becaus you will have to pay the service provider a certain amount per month. Without a contract, you only pay for the phone, but have to put credit into as you use it.
