Can you track your kids/wife by cell phone?

I heard that there were sites that enable you to track cell phones by GPS chips in them (other than the Disney phones site). The loophole is that you have to be the phone’s title-holder (or law enforcement). Does anyone know of one of these sites, or how much it costs? Would come in handy with a wife, kids that are supposed to be at mall, or even just a misplaced cell phone.

I’m not aware of a service like this.

For tracking children I can see many advantages, but I would not be in favor of tracking spouses in this style. That’s just one step-away from Huge Brother …

well.. the best thing i can tell you.. is get phones through verizon wireless.. there is this feature called chaperone.. and you can have a parent device.. and give your wife and child other devices(as long as the feature is available on it) and you can get on the internet or from your cell you can see were they are at…

they have many of nice phones that are competent.. like give your wife and kid chaperone device like lg chocolate phone.. or many more.. and you can have a parent device.. not a whole lot of devices but it can b like the lg enV

Yes. I know of Verizon specifically that has GPS children phones.

Disney also makes cell phones with GPS and you can also set times when they can and can’t be used.

Yep…Verizon offers Chaperone and Chaperone with child zone. Chaperone allow you to locate your child from your handset. With the added feature of child zone you will receive a text anytime your child enters or leave the zone you have designated as your childs zone. Verizon also offers parental features on the phone to allow only the facts you approve to call in or ba called.It’s really worth it the price (19.99 in addition to your voice plot) to know you kid is safe!

No, you have to find a company that offers that function. It will cost you extra money. (So yes there are some cell phones you can buy that have a sort of gps device on them) Don’t call them tracking devises it makes you children signal like dogs lol. Oh and coming from a kids point of view I reckon you should tell your children about the divice on their cell phones because eventualy they will find out and i dont reckon they will be to pleased knowing you’ve been able to track their ever go
