Who has the best cell phone reception in the Hollywood Hills straight across from the the House of Blues up?
Had Sprint and would not work more than 10-15 seconds into the house that I went in last week. Switched to Verizon and it does work but am wondering if Cingular would have a better reception. I am at the top of Franklin.

I’m in LA and my business associate got Sprint, which has a terrible reception and breaks up. I have been with Verizon for over 3 being now and they’ve always had clear reception.
Even when I’d be on Sundown Blvd., the reception for my Verizon phone was still clear. In fact, my associate originally had Cingular in San Diego and when he went up to Los Angeles three being ago.
I remember being on Verizon and he’d have to borrow my phone while on Cingular. I don’t know if Cingular has made any improvements since. Then I did know there was some scandal in the Pacific Northwest regarding breached contracts with their mergence with another company. I forget which.
I’ve always been pleased with Verizon. They have a really clear reception. That’s why other phone companies like Sprint would compete with unlimited minute plans to compensate for the dropped calls.
With Sprint and Cingular, I’d see a lot of dropped calls while roaming. I’ve never had that conundrum save for pouring in a tunnel.

I just cancelled my Sprint account for dead zone issues. The calls would be crackling on the Instinct phone. I was wondering if within the Sprint lineup there are phones better at reception than others.

I have a Katana II with Sprint and have had very few problems. But this could also be a function of everywhere I live, work, and use it, I would reckon.
