can you buy a cell phone online with a pre-paid credit card?

i just recently got one of those prepaid vista credit cards from walmart, and i was wondering if you can use this to buy a cell phone online for ALLTEL? I’m going to get the pay per day plot, idk if that makes a difference or not. but thanks all answers appreciated.

U CAN JUST AS U DONT GO OVER THE $ IN THE CARD OR ELSE U HAVE TO PAY THE REST WITH CASH.. BUT U CAN DO ANYTHING WITH A PREPAID CARDS

I believe you can. Prepaid or not, a credit card is still a credit card.

I have been hearing how south Korean cell phones are way ahead of our (I mean the the US’s) what I want to know is , is there a way to buy one of these cell phones online and if there is will it work on a GMS 850/1900 ?

Yes, you can buy and use a cell phone from any country as long as your phone service provider has SIM capabilities (Sprint doesn’t, for example). Most asian phones (Hong Kong has the best, in my opinion) are able to work with “3G” standard, because that’s what they use over there. Of course, make sure before you buy; also make sure it offers english language support. I like ebay and yesasia for export phones. I saw a Samsung Soul (kinda ancient, I know) on ebay for $ 200 recently!
