What is the cheapest way to buy a cell phone without buying a contract as well?

My boyfriend desires to add me to his plot. He can’t renew his contract right now, so I just want a cell phone without a contract. How can I get a cell phone without spending a lot of money, since I don’t need a new contract right now? Thank you.

The only thing that comes to mind is prepaid or tmobile flex pay or Metro PCS if its in your area. No contract and you pay the bill each month, Go to tmobile.com or call them and question about their flex play plot. With Metro PCS, it is unlimited for about $ 50 a month but its only competent in their coverage area. Go to Metropcs.com and see if you are in their coverage area

If you are being added to his plot, it’s just adding a line, you can call the carrier, or stop by the store. You sign a 2 year contract, & get added to boyfriends account, you are eligible for cheaper prices of the phones!!!

get a prepaid. nearly each cell phone provider sells them. try target, walmart, best buy, circuit city (if your local one hasn’t closed yet) or any other electronics retailer.

go on ebay and find something cheap. All kinds of prices are on there. Just beware that the expensive phones you see in the stores (like the iphone or blackberry) are still expensive on ebay. You also have to make sure that you can use the phone with the carrier. So, if your boyfriend has Verizon, you have to make sure that the phone can support Verizon’s network. Likewise, if you have AT&T, you have to make sure that the phone has a sim card slot and can support the network.

but if you are being added to the plot, you are going to get a discount on the phones since its a new line

I’ve seen this add a couple of times but never took the time to read pass the first sentence, which always makes me laugh. The other day I stopped and read. And laugh some more. Seems like a KYC exercise to me.

My at&t contract is not up, but my phone is hurt and i need a new one. does anyone know everywhere i can buy a cell phone without a contract? Preferably not a go phone, and possibly something inexpensive. Thanks!

Try walmart. you can find a ATT go phone and use it.
