Where can I get cheap android phones without a contract?
I am looking into getting the new T-Mobile G2. I have AT&T so i would prefer its unlocked, but I can easily pay for an unlock code if push comes to shove. I’ve tried using Ebay, but they charge retail pricing or more than retail pricing, and I don’t really recommend craigslist, because that’s just taking someones word. Does anyone know of an online store, where I can Buy Cheaper phones than retail pricing without a contract?
Thanks

well if your after the cheapest you wanna make sure its a good deal… i suggest you ring up a few phone stores first & ask for prices or try looking at catalogs…then do a price comparison online.. now trying to search for the cheapest online could take hours so i recommend you just download this free web app that I use to buy anything online.. it basically works with any search engine like yahoo…it will do a quick automatic price comparison for you on all online stores showing lowest to highest prices including product photos.. see how you go www.topshop.net.au

I don’t recommend buying a phone while speaking a language you don’t really speak, but I couldn’t find anyone who spoke English or Spanish. By the time I had paid for my phone, I still wasn’t sure if I had credit to make calls or not!
For a cheap phone, it wasn’t bad. Texting was easier than any other US phone I’ve used – the delay before you can press the same key and get a new letter is much shorter. The only annoyance is that if you press one too many times, you have a lot more vowels to cycle through, because of all the accented versions.
