Postal Employee Cell phone discount?

Does anyone know if working as a mail carrier for the post service makes you elidgible for disounts from sprint or verizon. If so how much? and what are the reqiurements and how to you go about getting the discount.

go to the Sprint section of http://cellphonesmarket.com and you will find a theme : Company Discount” look there

Sprint offers customers a 25% discount. I don’t know about how much Verizon is but if you go to their website and click on employee discounts and place in an email take up it will tell you. In order to get the one for Sprint all you have to do is call in and let them know and then they will tell you how you can verify that you are in fact a postal employee. Just call customer service.

Does anyone know everywhere in the Federal Telecommunations Act of 1996 it discuss the discount for federal employees present and past?

i’m not sure about that but i do know many of the cell phone companies give a military discount, verizon wireless gives a discount thats what we have

It’s not a military discount, it’s a federal discount. Cingular (now AT&T) is a 17% discount.

doubtless in the near future cell phones with cameras will be prohibited from all military installations,see news from the pentagon or call and question

If you are in the Army you should check out AKO for the cell phone discount page. It lists most of the deals availible to military members.

UPDATE: Second Set Of Evacuations Lifted, First Evacuations Still In Effect
A chemical spill has occurred near Wagon Gap Trail and Elk Valley Trail, west of I-25 on the south side of Monument. There are road closures in the area, and evacuations in the area have been made. Jackie Kirby with El Paso County tells 11 News that the hole is patched and holding, as officials wait to transfer the acid to a new container.
