Can anyone recommend a good key finder? Something that will beep to help you locate them?

My husband is constantly losing his car keys, cell phone charger, etc. I want to buy him a “key finder” that can help locate them from long distances. I have found a few through internet searches, but would prefer to go by personal testimony rather than just product descriptions and blind belief. Thanks!

If you buy him a key finder, he will lose that, too. Get him a key ring with a retractile cord (either a coiled cord or a wind-up cord) so he can’t lose his keys in the first house. I’ve seen them at office supply stores. They are commonly used for corporate identification/access cards.

Nephiel’s EDC, layer 2
cell phone finder

This is the second layer of my EDC gear.
A small, compact bag with electronic gadgets, the means to power and recharge them, and other helpful things to make quick fixes.

I’ve looked everywhere I went now with the phone; so, delight don’t give me some answer about “get off the computer and look for it.” I have even suspended service on the digit. Therein lies my question: With the service suspended, the phone is basically disabled how am I to try to contact the finder of the phone? Can they still access any of the facts in the phone book, such as “mom” or “dad”? Also, IF the person is HONEST and trying to return it, they can’t even answer it now if I call my own digit. I thought about sending a text offering a reward for the return of the phone; but here again, I have suspended service and can’t send a text to it so the person could read it. I really would be okay with just the sim card back, would pay a reward even to a would-be thieving jerk to buy one just like it, but whatever. Anyway, any suggestions?

You were smart to cancel the service. And you are right that the phone is now unable to receive or make calls/texts.

Though, whomever finds it can access the phone book. If an honest person has found it, they can call a digit from the phone book, like Mom or Dad, and return it.

I hope that someone does get in touch with you and returns the phone.

It is possible that no one has found it, or someone did find it and the battery is dead. Unless they have a charger that matches the phone they won’t be able to charge it to turn it back on.

Excellent Luck!
