Is Sprint a good cell phone service for Wisconsin?
I hear all the hype with the 4G stuff and was just wondering if Sprint had excellent coverage in wisconsin. Yeah I see the coverage maps, but is it legit?
Answer by Kerry
Yes, the coverage maps are honestly accurate. You can check it down to the street level at http://sprint.com/coverage. Whether they have “excellent coverage” depends on everywhere you are. Out in the boonies, possibly, possibly not, but in most cities you’re golden.
You can also try the service for 30 days, and if you don’t like it you can send back the phone and get a refund. It’s worth a shot.

IYOUIT in Otterlo
This photo was taken in park Hoge Veluwe N.P., in Otterlo. It was sunny when I made this photo. The prognosis was clouds and sunshine. Just at home in Schiphol Centrum in Noord-Holland coming from somewhere in Storstrom (distance: 597km, speed: 318km/h) Taken on Sunday, October 19, 2008 4:25:53 PM and context-tagged with IYOUIT
The signal reception for my sprint instinct 30 cell phone is dreadful. The map shows that I should have excellent coverage. Yahoo is my email provider which also does not get excellent reception. Any suggestions to improve my web browser and cell phone signal reception?
Answer by Greg
What you are looking for is a Sprint Airave. The Airave acts like a mini cell tower in your home. What you do is plug it into a high speed internet tie, and then use it to make unlimited calls on the Airave network. I’m not sure of everything it does, but there’s an article about it here:
