How do I build a cell phone antenna or booster? My phone keeps dropping calls from my house. ?

After Hurricane Katrina in LA I went to a truck stop and A cell phone antenna that they mount on their trucks and usually you need an adapter for you phone but it certainly helps. They are usually by the cb antennas and you can also buy a magnet mount so you can use it traveling. The site below has some antennas but I just went to the truck stop I believe a Pilot or something.

My laptop, cell phone and antenna booster waiting for me to get back to work.

I now get 4-5 bars at 3G on my cell phone. I use it for tethering. I have been looking at options to increase data speeds. I saw a few external antenna attachments, and was wondering which, if any, work. Any other thoughts and/or suggestions! Thank you!!

if you have 4-5 bars. it doesnt mean the speed of internet will increase.. it help get more signal but internet speed will be increase alittlebit that wont even notice the change.. waste of manoy
