While in Shanghai, how can I make sure I have enough electrical outlets to plug in to, and still be safe?

I am going to be rooming with someone in a hotel in Plates. I don’t know how many outlets/plug-ins I will be able to find, and what types of plugs I will be able to use.

I know that there are three different outlet types used in Plates. European 2-pin
US/Japan 2-prong
Australia 2-prong along with a 3rd pin option
Hong Kong has another one entirely

I am also aware that 220V is the standard, and not 110V. I know that some hotels have the all the plug options all in one space, without the Hong Kong one. Though, does that mean that I could plug in more than one thing by by those? For example: one Euro 2-pin and one Australia 2-prong? Alternatively, could I use a US 2-prong on the top, and then use an adapter to take advantage of the Australian part?

Also, I want to have a power strip (A.K.A. Surge Protector) that will accept US 2-prong or US 3-prong, while keeping things safe. My laptop adapter and cell phone charger are both rated for 110V – 240V.

When I have visited RadioShack, they all said to buy the European 2-pin adapter. I have been told this is incorrect by a foreign electronics store, and by simple observation of various adapters. Additionally, they said that I would need a heavy power converter in order to handle the draw needed for multiple things being plugged in. I initially wondered if I could get a US 3-prong adapter and then take a US surge protector. I estimate it isn’t possible.

What would work?

Dont worry much. You can find so many kinds of plug adaptors just in front of your hotel. Or just question the hotel staff to provide for you.

Everything can be done in Shanghai.

Lawari top blocked once again after continue rain and
heavy snowfall.

CHITRAL: The only land route connecting Chitral to
other sorts of the country was blocked at Lawari top
due to continue rain and heavy snowfall. The Lawari
top was opened on 2nd April by National Highway
Authority (NHA) which had been blocked on December 31,
2007 after snowfall. According to Meteorological
office Chitral some 23 millimeters rain had been at
8.00 AM and 35 MM at Drosh at 8.00 mornings on

well as supply of electricity also suspended due to
heavy snowfall as main transmission line have been
carried to Chitral from Dir upper via Lawari Pass.
Mostly education institutions remain close due to
rain, snow and cold weather. Shortage of edible things
in local promote an other nuisance for the people of
Chitral. Hence Tehsil Lutkoh received heavy snowfall
as comparative Chitral. PIA schedules flights
cancelled continuously for the last 4 days. As Chitral
disconnected with other parts of the country by land
and aerial ways. Residents of Chitral have demanded
for provisions of Liquid Gas cylinder on subsidize
rates.

I do not reccomend Net10. I had it for 2 being. Customer Service is not 24 hour, and their minutes are very costly. Unless you don’t use your phone often, I would not reccomend this network. The coverage was excellent everywhere I live, but Verizon Wireless finished up working much better for me.

trac fone works the same as net 10 yes its affilaited with trac fone rates are better 10 cents a minute yeah net 10 isnt terrible just not for texting expensive customer care is excellent they r relaible buy top up cards at kmart walmart target
