Is there a HACK to unlock a cell phone?

Is there a HACK to unlock a cell phone?

I have a Verizon cell phone and want to place on there what ever I want with out restrictions but cannot due to how Verion desires to nickle and dime you. Is there any hacks to unlock the phone? Also any other hacks are welcome.

It depends on the model phone you’ve got. It’s possible you could sparkle the phone with the factory software which would open it up to all it’s capabilities, though flashing can permanently ruin your phone if you do it incorrect or it’s interrupted somehow in the process. You also would have to reprogram all your WAP and MMS settings to get the web and picture messaging working again. Some phones like motorola you can use seem edits to re-enable features without flashing the phone. It all depends!

Slipped and fell Saturday night
how to unlock a cell phone

Turns out it’s just a bruise (and an invisible one at that, no discoloration, no swelling), but I slipped and fell while unlocking my bike Saturday night. Apparently landed with all of my weight on my cell phone, charitable me the worst charlie horse ever. It hurt so terrible that I thought I was going to puke. Managed to limp/set alight rail/bike/limp my way home.
The next day I couldn’t go my right leg without feeling pretty serious pain, so I called one of those nurse shape, and after asking some questions, they recommended I go get for myself checked out. After waiting for a hour or so, the nurse practitioner who saw me said, "Pfft, I swear, if you had a hang nail, they would tell you to come in. You’re fine, just take 600mg of ibuprofen each 6 hours." So kinda anti-climactic.

In defense of the nurse shape, I have called numerous times and been given advice on how to take care of a conundrum for myself. Plus, the ER nurses are only ever in contact with the people who get told to go in, so they of course reckon that there are a ton of fake positives.

**bring up to date one week later**
Bruise finally showed up, but it’s on the inside of my leg instead of the outside everywhere I landed on it. The nurse had guessed that I might have bruised the underside of the muscles, against my femur, I estimate that it’s all the fluids and crap from that leaking out wherever they can.

I am gonna sell my Nokia N73 on eBay, though, I see that the others for sale are “unlocked”. What dose it mean to unlock a phone? How do I do it? Or how can I find out if mine is unlocked? Thanks!
Its a Nokia N73. I have T-Mobile.

An unlocked phone is a phone that will work with any service provider. Phones you get from the various providers are locked so that they only work with their phone service.

Most phones are ‘locked’ to a particular network in order to preclude users from putting in sim cards from other networks, thus – if you bought your phone on T-mobile, it would be impossible to place in an Orange sim card for example.

There is a work around – you can unlock your phone for usually a small fee. You can read more details on this issue at this exact website:

I’m just going to copy and paste from a site…

What is GSM Remote Unlocking?

GSM unlocking removes the sim lock on your phone, allowing you to use one phone on any GSM network. Some GSM networks include AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Fido, Vodafone etc. All you need to do is provide the serial digit (IMEI), and wait for a representative to e-mail you with instructions and a code to eliminate the lock. This service is provided remotely. Anyone can do it!

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone! This gives you the freedom to travel without having to worry about export or renting a phone in a foreign country. You simply buy a pay as you go sim card and insert it into your unlocked phone. Not only will it save you money, but if you choose to sell your phone, it will increase the value of your phone significantly!

Is it safe? Is it illegal? What if my provider finds out?

Yes it is safe. All of our codes come straight from the manufacturer or provider. It is not illegal to unlock your phone. Infact, it is illegal to have your phone locked in some countries. We have never had a complaint about someone’s phone malfunctioning from unlocking by code.

I hope Verizon doesn’t read this. It’s been so excellent to me the past six months, but now that I’m heading to Latin America again, all I can reckon about is AT&T.
