verizon cell phone review???suggestions?

i have a two year plot with verizon and it just expred. i want a new phone but my parents will not alllow me to get a data plot. i dont know but has anyone been in this situation? if so what phone do you reckon is the best phone to get without a data plot. have been looking at the lg cosmo touch ….pantech crux…samsung intensity II … and the verizon salute. can anyone contribute any helpful info about these phones or others that do not requitre a data plot? thanks soo much
