What is the Best Cell Phone Deal for a very inactive user?
im a high schooler and chose i would like a cell phone but i have to pay for the service so im looking for the cheapest plot possible. I will doubtless seldom use it possibly to call to be picked up or send a friend a quick message. I estimate i will do 10 minutes a day and 10 texts a day. So what is the best plot for me? im thinking one of those prepaid deals from Virgn Mobile or T-Mobile, but a friend suggested Cricket too. Help Delight?

I have Virgin Mobile and i really like it. Texts are 10 cents per text (in and out) and minutes are 20 cents. You can also pay 10.00 a month for 1000 texts per month, and the rest would be for talking.

Dial *611, select Additional Options, then select the option for calling plans and features and follow the prompts for changing optional features.

Well, just buy a no contract phone…Verizon(INPULSE), Virgin Mobile, Tracfone, AT&T, Sprint…they all have the prepaid plans available. You can buy nearly anywhere, most of the phones come with about 10 minutes or so of airtime, and they also deduct about .99/day, at least Verizon does from your balance, along with charging you .10/minute for your call. Most of the carriers have free mobile to mobile, so there is no charge to call others with the same carrier. I would figure out from your friends who they have, in any case if it’s prepaid or not, and then go that route. For instance, say you have a bunch of friends on Verizon and only a few with Sprint…you might want to go with Verizon as you can talk to them all for free everyday, you will just have to pay the .99/day for the ability to use the service.

You can get Page Plus prepaid, the minutes are really cheap and you can use any verizon cell phone. I know they have $ 25 cards for 300 minutes but if buy larger cards it gets cheaper and the cards last for 4 months so if you buy an $ 80 card you will get 400 minutes per month for 4 months that makes it $ 20 per month, when you sign up you get 100 free minutes and its only $ 5 to sign up. There is no contract and no daily fees or anything like that, its just excellent cheap prepaid.
