I am a first time cell phone buyer. Which phone and plan should I get?
my parents said i could get a cell phone if i pay the bill. I don’t have that much money so something not very expensive would be nice. Also I want to have a plot with rogers(that’s what my parents have). I like to text and dont need tooooo many minutes but a few would be nice.

I would recommend at&t/rogers I reckon rogers and at&t merged or something. It will be $ 90 a month for 450 minutes, 5,000 night and weekend minutes, unlimited mobile to mobile, and best of all roll over minutes. Roll over will let you keep your minutes that you didn’t use from last month. Your minutes will renew but your ancient minutes will go into a roll over minute fund. There is no fee to use your roll over minutes. They are your minutes, you already paid for them!
so yeah, i reckon you might like at&t but look around and question ppl who their company is and make your pronouncement for how many ppl have that one company and then choose that one.

You should go with a prepaid phone so if you can’t afford the phone one month it’s “okay” everywhere the other plans will charge you lots of late fees and report terribly on your credit.
Look into kajeet

Excellent luck!

first smoothie in our new Vita-Mix. Very exciting.
A girlfriend of mine who went along to Costco having chose that she couldn’t afford one right now, wound up getting sucked into export one on site, after a 10-minute cell phone call with her partner, followed by a call to the bank to transfer over some funds(!).
I’m pretty sure she had intermittent buyers remorse on the way home, for such a hefty buy, but now we were excitedly comparing notes. We’re both one smoothie in, and I made scrambled eggs in it for breakfast (not to be repeated- cleaning the blade was a serious b*tch), and have bread & soup on our agendas for tonight. Um, yay!!!
I am getting a cell phone for my sixteenth birthday as a present. And it has to be from AT&T. I want the LG Xenon. I am getting texting and unlimited calling. So.. what I want to know is, is this a excellent phone for a teen (delight leave reviews) or tell me a better phone to get.
All my friends have cells phones so I am so psyched!!!!
Thanks for all your help,
ANgie

Don’t get the Xenon…Lg touch-screen phones are NOT user-friendly!! I just got the iPhone 3GS last week…and it is the best phone that I have ever had…and I’ve had around 10 different phones!

personally, the iphone isn’t all that.
And I’m not really sure how to answer this question.
All I know is that this girl, who gives really excellent advice on just about anything. I’m sorry I couldn’t help very much, but here’s her site just in case.
