Can I use a cell phone I bought on Ebay even though it's not my carrier?

I bought a phone that is in the store at US Cellular on ebay used. It says that Metro PCS is the carrier and it has no contract. Does this mean that I can’t bring the phone to the store and use it?

Take it to one of those stores that sells all different kinds of cell phone plans, and have them sparkle it for you over to the carrier you want to use.

You doubtless cant go to your normal carrier store but most wireless stores will have the ability to change the carrier on the phone for you. They might charge you but most liable wont.

What is this kind of storage called? In computers permanent or stored memory would use sparkle or ram technology, so in cell phones what is it? Like for example when you store a name or digit in your cell phone?

This is a higher quality recording of the song that plays while waiting for someone to answer when calling the Sprint store. Overall the signal quality turned out better than the other video since I used a cell phone with one earbud placed on top of a mic. The only part everywhere it started to detiriorate is close to the end everywhere you hear some cutting off.
